15 (and almost a half) months

So, yeah...I'm a pretty cruddy blogger at this point. In my defense, it is the beginning of school with what some would call an "active" class. Add to that I have had to leave early 3 of our 9 days for doctor stuff and you can probably get the gist of why I have been so absent lately.

With all of that said, you probably won't care much about this post anyway! I wanted to document what Emerson is up to at 15ish months before I completely forget.

Stats: weighs 26lbs (95th percentile) and is 33 3/4in long (99th percentile) Wearing 18mo clothes for the most part, but the belly is beginning to hang out. :)

Loves: books, Bubble Guppies, phones/ipads, music, babies, water, fruit, green beans, chicken nuggets, chocolate milk, shoes (always wants to have shoes on and can pretty much put them on herself), bags or purses, cheerios, ICE!, Daddy, talking, laughing, dancing

Dislikes: having her hair washed, being left, being outside too long

Words: Daddy, Bubble Guppies (buh-buh bees), No (thanks to Uncle Jonathan :) ), Don't, Bye, Hi, Jesus (that's a new one!), Hey

Animal Sounds: kitty cat, puppy dog, chicken (complete with wing flap), cow, now working on a monkey

Tricks: flips on the bed, puts stuff in the trashcan, "loves" her baby dolls (pats and rocks), high-fives, can open an iPhone and play her Fisher Price apps, mocks sounds (fake coughs/laughs)

This little girl has changed our world completely. It's so hard to believe she's almost 1 1/2!! I miss those sweet chubby baby legs sometimes, but I am so excited to watch her grow and learn new things every day. She's a keeper.
